the lightening/pause that Chris was referring to is happening but the main batch looks not too far behind and pretty healthy.

There were some 1/4SM obs out there in ALY's area. It'll get here eventually.

According to radar the heaviest lift looks to be building right toward CON and north to the Lakes Region.  Hope it holds

Lakes region and northeast has been the modeled max for this event.

Pounding snow here now. Easily 1/4 mile and heavy snow. Typical SWFE snow, so ratios aren’t that good. Currently doubting a lot of the guidance that has me going to straight rain this afternoon. 19.8° F. I bet I go to freezing rain, but not plain rain. Never underestimate the power of cold highs.

Yeah, LEB is 23 currently and all hi-res guidance has them at least 26 this hour.

Just started here, -SN, 18.5°F, Certainly has been a slow warm up, P&C had us getting to 32°F today, I don't see that happening.

Big hole around Albany, just  -SN small flakes here now.  Too bad because it was actually pretty good snow growth for the past 45 minutes.

Be lucky to grab 1" here me thinks.

Even if it does, the dry slot is pretty quick on its heels. But CON is 1/4SM now, so it's now or never for 4 inches.
