NE snow event March 4th

Recommended Posts

GGEM is a good tick south too...not like the GFS, but it keeps most of SNE all snow...maybe S RI to SE MA mixes and south coast of CT.

Can you imagine if we get 2 snow bombs in 3 days?

Would definitely improve everybody’s perception of this winter for sure if that panned out!!

Wow, that's a beaut. Too bad it's this crappy new GFS and probably won't look like this come Monday.

I actually find it encouraging that the regular 00z GFS went SE being that the Euro is where it is. We'll see

Not sure if I'm liking the flatter look, hopefully we keep the a happy medium between the GFS and Euro and have a bit of a recurve for that extra weenie inch

Gefs also flatter than 18z

I'll take that any day this season. Every storm thus far this season has ended up too amped so flat is good.

Flatter and colder

Still warm for the coastal plain but nice improvement.

You are in a good spot for both. Maybe not jacking, but good place to be

I never care too much about jacking.  Just want to see heavy snow.

Looks like the euro is a tick more amped. Pretry good dump before slot and drizzle even at BOS. This will be a quick mover too.

Euro?

Brings the low out over ACK.  strong front ender for a lot of SNE.  One more tick is all we need.

It does seem that generally speaking low 1 being more amplified yields more low 2 suppression.

We need Chris to come in with his ensemble sensitivities.

Definitely. Im a fan of those. I noticed it on big gfs and extended reg solutions for saturday/sunday. Seem to kick march 4th south.

Why?  Seems reasonable at this point.

This.  The official forecasts are not reflecting the amplitude of tonight.
