I just assume if MN Transplant posts its usually bad news.

Mostly just realism. NAM doesn’t have great rates going on outside the favorited areas, without the rates your snow is melting on contact

He is pretty good actually, but it's the NAM...so far

He's real good. He just keeps a low profile.

Topper is CONVINCED the snow falls in storm one.  He's the only local met calling for the snow storm tomorrow.  I'm confused as to why he is confused.  Also worried.

Putting this in banter so I don't get my head chopped off. I am excited that it will snow. But I am in the UHI, inside the beltway. If I get 2-4" of accumulating snow on grass by Wednesday 12pm, I will be really happy with this event. I think expecting more than that, at least where I am, is very unrealistic.

I'm sticking to my inch of sleet then 3" of snow in Leesburg. Schools open on 2 hour delay Wednesday

That's a pretty good forecast. I'm thinking 4" of snow is top end for me. The one who was the most scared of everything for days and days will probably get double digits. One of the primary adjectives of this place is predictable.

Oh he clearly knows his stuff and spot on with his analysis...since our winter has sucked so much, the only analysis he could give is “bad” news I guess.  Lol

It wouldn’t be a storm if PSU didn’t freak out about it

Ugh. NAM doesn't give as much snow any more TMBY. NAM is immediately the least accurate model anyways.

I think I speak for just about everyone on the board(even the Alaska subforum) when  I say: stop posting

thanks

It's almost too easy to know which poster is posting a debbie downer post when you see their name come up as last post made

Whereas you have no proof I submit to the public my sworn testimony upon penalty of no snow for Dover if I am not truthful, that I am not lying

I think the immediate coast will score the ccb deathbands later on Wed, while the rest of us see light to moderate snow. It has been their year. OC, DE beaches, and SNJ get pasted. Thats my call.

Time for another stout.

I keep worrying about that... atmospheric memory has worked for them lately... and the NE.  But this is the type of storm that the IAD/DC/BWI corridor tends to do well in.
