It was an awesome morning on Nichols Pond outside of Cabot, VT.  I took this after the fog lifted.

Which camera and lense are you using, if you don't mind me asking.

Same up this way.... that was crazy.  Such a weird light on the ground too.

Living on the edge of Jose.  He is just giving us great sunsets.  Here is last night on top and tonights on the bottom.  Maybe another one tomorrow night as he just sits and spins well to the SE of us up here!

Glad coast is getting some wind and had some rain, ready to fire up drought thread here. Lol.

I'm actually enjoying the torch end to September. Could probably use some rain  but the small gardener is almost done and the less rain the less ticks in October.

Your winter pics are legendary.  Beautiful area.  Once I'm recovered from my surgery and winter sets in I plan to visit Quebec again-this time for winter.

The best spot in Winter!  I haven't been on much - you okay Jerry?

Went to sleep with everything open and the house is freezing this morning.

Ive got 44F now but MVL dipped to 41F out in the field.

Crisp fall-like morning before the heat.

I guess I have been focused on the upcoming days of heat because I was a bit taken aback at the slight chill this morning.

Not glad we don't live there.

Couldn't afford it. Bend is a great place except for all the Cali retirees.

I'm a bit taken aback at how dangerously close your cold air is to my delightfully warm air.  A pleasant 60 degrees here this morning.

That's a pretty large pond.

Nice shot though.

54F here. Congrats on the torch. We need another Octobomb with you home to really get you full of rage. The lakeshore fail in 2011 is easier to take when you're under palm trees.

Possible record highs coming up...funny how 2007 also saw some good heat around this time given all the talk about that winter in the winter thread.  Also 2010 had some heat around this time asthe Massena records show....both Nina years.

Legit raw, Fall feel today. Yard is a mess with leaves/small branches etc. U50s with a 30-40mph wind is nasty.

Drive 25mi S. :snorkle:
