Pretty comfortable up here today. Mid 60s and a steady breeze with bkn skies. The birds are happy.

Not a cloud in the sky here and very warm for this time of year.  Dews are low so it's very pleasant.

65F at 4,000ft and 74F here at the office.  Going to mid/upper 60s at the picnic tables is pretty impressive this time of year.

Low of 40F though last night might set MVL up for a 40-degree diurnal range if they can mix out a bit better.

Can see some high clouds off towards NH on the horizon.

Ok, Jose can go away now...the weather has been so crappy since tuesday...probably picked up 2.5inches of rain. Had some decent gusts. Today has seen the most consistent rain and wind combo. Tues night we got 1.6inches of rain but no wind. Yesterday we had continuous gusts to 40ish but no rain. Today is the first day we have had wind and rain.

Sounds like you got good advice.  Good luck with it.  Why did they do carotid imaging in the first place without symptoms unless they found sone thing on an eye exam or another test?

My PCP heard something interesting with his stethoscope during a(n otherwise) routine visit in 2011.  Six years later he thought it wise (and I agreed) to check again, despite continued lack of symptoms.

All it takes is one day where the 850s get near 0C that time of year and it'll happen at most spots aside the hilltop or mid-slopes.

Doesn't take much.  Not just HUL but also PQI came in at 36 this morning, and I don't think 850s were much below 10C there.  They're both wide and low flats - can be interesting to track how much cooler/colder it is on still mornings at PQI, compared to CAR's hilltop 12 miles to the north.

Edit:  September rain:  3-7, 3.41"   8th onward, 0.08".  However, unlike last year the water table is okay - Sandy River flow is just below the median, and last year it was setting records for low flow.
