1985 Polar Bear
30 degrees here and back and forth between sleet and freezing rain. GYX changed their forecast at 4 a.m. from emphasis on sleet to possible ice storm inland. Ugh: "If trends continue it could be possible to consider that we may end up in an ice storm situation in some the areas well inland."
MarkO
It will keep the mountain open. Net gainer around here, and up at the cabin. Here in Lowell, ended up with 2" of frozen. No school today. Looks like sleet at the cabin as well. http://24.103.196.50/stream.jpg
jbenedet
I was sleet/snow most of the night but at some point recently we flipped to heavy snow. Snowing heavily right now--visibility less than .25" mile.

CoastalWx
Well looks like the warmth aloft did better on the nam. Euro and gfs were a bit too cold, but you can't get mad on an error of a half degree. It was borderline and everyone pretty much hashed it out numerous times. Sleet b**ch. moneypitmike
Just took stock of the situation. We actually do have a few inches of winter out there. The deck has surprisingly little though. 29.7* tick, tick, tick.
Damage In Tolland
Never had any liquid..A wire to wire sleeter at 31-32 the entire time. Almost impossible to do in a coastal storm Hopefully round 2 tonight is wintry as temps look to be right around freezing

Ryan
Eyeballed 3-4" of snow/sleet at my house in Atkinson. It was almost all snow when I left at 5:45. Surprisingly, less accumulation at CON. 93 was a mess from Salem to Derry. Slushy, treated north of there. Sounds like DOT was going off of NWS' early Monday forecast of zero in that stretch... DomNH
Looks like a couple inches on the grass and less on the deck/driveway. Snow grains now.
backedgeapproaching
4.1" slight high bust. Not sure why i had snow for 3-4 hours, when every model had a massive ML torch here and I seem to be in a prone area. 4.1 on .81" LE, so there was definitely PL mixing in. Also might the be the only time in history I had more than Woodford vt which had 2" as of 7am.

The grass was closer to 3" Wondering if there might either be a flip to snow later as slot fills in or maybe a sleety mix? Zip, zero, nada in Brooklyn. Had an hour or 2 of sleet last night with no accum. Woke up to light rain, and the feel of a cold spring day. Over here in Manchester maybe 1" or so of sleet.
