2 inches plus of sleet here..schools are closed.. looks just like DIT's pictures.  If you didn't know better you'd swear it was snow when just glancing at it.  

 

Never turned to rain like was predicted.. impressive after all. A plowable sleet event..haven't had one of those in a decade (feb of 07).

Same here, about 2" with schools closed.
