NorEastermass128
Remember. Live by the NAM, die by the NAM.Am I missing something? 00z NAM looks pretty cruddy for wave 1. Warms up the MLs pretty quick too.
CoastalWx
Am I missing something? 00z NAM looks pretty cruddy for wave 1. Warms up the MLs pretty quick too. It has a decent thump of snow, but the 4KM NAM was a snowier solution. Anyways, it's the NAM so it gets little weight IMO.

medmax
Have to say it, I don't toss the NAM. It has been extraordinary at sniffing out trends before other models. 'Tis out on a limb this time though. ... Just checked and the 06z NAM shows a PIT cutter for the second wave. First looks promising if enough cold air is around. 06z GFS is a cutter as well. Models look to be in agreement for a E-OH/W-PA cut.
Allsnow
Both the GFS and euro where hideous in the long range last night. Gradient north of the boarder the entire run.

dendrite
Are folks not looking at ensembles? Pattern looks good north of Central NJOp euro gave me 2 snow events after the cutter. I'm not sure why people from NJ come into the New England thread to complain.
CT Valley Snowman
GFS looks a bit better with wave 1 next Tuesday. RGEM is showing an organized albeit mainly light slug of moisture hours 42-48. I wouldn't be shocked if there were some 1-2 type amounts. Perhaps it can trend a bit better. weathafella
Both the GFS and euro where hideous in the long range last night. Gradient north of the boarder the entire run. Discounting the 6+ the euro op gives me d6-10?

ORH_wxman
Yeah idk why some people do that. Probably trying to work up some nerves Allsnow is a known troll. He probably makes 80-90% of his posts in here when New England is facing snowless prospects. (I'm actually not sure why we still allow his act) We welcome anyone from outside the region who wants to contribute in good faith. Doesn't have to mean you post only positive snow thoughts...but post genuinely.
