foggy Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Back to 90% snow. Temp here in Clarksburg is 23.9F and winds are backing to SE at 4mph after being due south for the last 11 hours. I've cleared the "board" since the flip started. It'll be interesting to see what the SN/IP/ZR accumulation totals are for the rest of the storm. A quote from the Va Bird List Serve: A winter wren was rescued from inside the main building today at Westminster at Lake Ridge retirement community. It had flown inside when automatic doors opened for residents--possibly looking for a place out of the snow and cold! Westminster is located in Lake Ridge, near the town of Occoquan. I know DC has warmmed at surface but I still think this precip will back and forth from snow to sleet to fr rain and combos thereof and then toward the end instead of raining it just sort of drizzles and fogs out.
