30 degrees as the clouds move in. ESE winds at 5 mph bringing in milder weather.

 

With any luck we will hit 33 degrees before any of that damned freezing rain can reach us.

 

We'll be out of the woods soon - man do I ever feel SO sorry for all those folks up in Maryland and in the mountains where the cold air will hold on much longer, maybe all day long Sunday with steady ZR. We'll enjoy a steady regular rain with no ice at all. Saved by mild marine air again!

I'm with you Jeb. My area is basically just north of 695 up here but it's like a little micro climate. I've seen numerous occasions where greater Parkville is raining or r/s mix and it's just snow at my house with a 2-4 deg difference. I'm not liking where this is going. People like mapgirl up in Parkton have it the worst though with cold air trapping anywhere east of Frederick

There is a pocket of really cold air to the NW of DC..moisture is very spotty and mostly to the east....looks like some will be streaming in here around 8ish...won't be much and who knows what the temps do....was always a low impact event...even more so now

* TIMING...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE EARLY THIS

  FREEZING BY MIDDAY.
