  1. Past hour
  2. Going to be some violence going through Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca late on
  3. Huge meatball over Vaughan currently giving them likely large hail, some memories of Aug 20 too for some. The sups (if they are that mature yet) don't have the bean shape yet. I'm getting a few sunny breaks. More cells formed to my south but are petering out or will be the ignition for the further south stuff to erupt. There are values of SBCAPE of 5000 south of London! I think I'm around 2.5K, 1 STP, and 2 VTP lol.
  4. Like I really needed another half inch of rain. Sheesh.
  5. So much for the 10% chance of rain that WABC was advertising for the daylight hours today during their 5AM weather forecast. Heck, NWS is still only showing 30% chance of rain even with that big blob entering the city.
  6. Just hit 100 south of ATL. Real feel "only" 111.
  7. WTF that has to have been the worst radar return to actual precip ratio I've ever experienced. I was covered in reds per radarscope and only managed 0.08". Not even fully wet under the trees.
  8. Felt pretty cool today. I'd take this in October but not early September

  10. .67 here Should have mowed the lawn three days ago. I guess been lucky this week and back in July with these NW flow events. A few miles overall made a huge difference with monthly rainfall totals.
  11. Is there any chance that Edouard could be retired due to heavy rains, which caused Allison to be retired?
  12. 50 mph gust at Frederick house but just 20 in kemp mill and 0.15” rain
  13. I'll be at a half inch in a few minutes.
  14. Constant thunder for 30 minutes as a train of storms skirts me one 1 mile to the north. Full sun, 25F hotter than 1 mile away. And lots of wind bringing down drought-stressed leaves everywhere.
  15. Not sure we’re gonna crack 100 today, haven’t been able to get above 98 and clouds have moved in. Sauna out regardless
  16. To add to the above, here are Nino 3 and Nino 4 (note that these aren’t relative, but that’s ok since my point is to show the slopes): Nino 3: still a slow rise through Aug instead of nearly flat like 3.4: Nino 4: had been falling through Aug 17th though a bumpy net slow rise since:
  17. I work in Pearl River. Saw the radar and left early to avoid that. Crazy fail
  18. it's going to survive into here as well...just what we don't need
