Colder air will return for tomorrow through Tuesday. A light snowfall with coatings in places, especialy north and west of New York City, is possible tomorrow. Monday could see the temperature top out near or even below freezing in New York City after starting in the upper teens. After mid-week, a warming trend will commence. The second week of March could feature springlike readings. Long Island and coastal sections could be noticeably cooler than interior sections on a number of days on account of a chilly onshore flow. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +1.2°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was -0.1°C for the week centered around February 11. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +0.37°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged -0.32°C. Neutral ENSO conditions have now developed. Neutral ENSO conditions will continue through at least mid-spring. The SOI was +17.10 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was -0.236 today.

What about winter for Weymouth? Scott doesn't like the TORCH on the 6-10 day! Almost everyone did well this winter DCA-BOS. Not epic levels for snowfall, but *far* better than the previous 4 winters. How many winters has Weymouth had two 20"+ events? Probably can count on one hand. So I don't want to hear it Scot!!

18z 3km NAM was on board with the light icing across the NW mountains on Monday. 0z running now. Shouldn't be anything significant but a little glaze along the escarpment possible. Big difference to the beautiful weather today.

Been a hell of a run there since 2017 compared to climo. Just looking at a webcam view of Rehoboth Ave and piles of snow everywhere including right along the sidewalks.

This time yesterday the hrrr was showing 4-6” imby. Only model putting accumulating snow imby fwiw. Didn’t see a flake within 75 miles. Euro did decent with the placement of the band but not the totals.

Well I know we dont do severe here. So there is no point once the winter is over. Although I did post a tornado that ran through my hood a few years ago. It was invigorating.
