Funnels warm temps up the chain to our west due to very little damming. 34 here this Am with some roof frost and a bit of grass frost. I'm also a few miles from the South River. Typically my area doesn't see frost until November or even December. My climo is more like Richmond or central NC. One reason I'm moving for winter lol 1

Paleocene
Down to 36 inside the beltway here, maybe a degree or two lower in open spots? Pretty cool for mid October in these parts, I was surprised to see us that far into the 30s. Of course, other than tonight and tomorrow am, doesn't look like I'll see 30s again anytime soon lol. With the recent rain I'm hoping for a brilliant color foliage season.

I left Calvert for Germantown when I got a DC based job and it paid off in quite a few winters. One time I had 8 inches on the ground and got off the train at Union Station to bare ground and rain. Now I'm back in Calvert for family and space LOL Got to 40 here. I'm hoping to keep my flowering plants a few weeks longer
