Played 9 after work and it was chilly where the sun dipped behind ridges. Last 4:54 tee time of the year for sure. 36° here.

weatherwiz
Anyways, could be a decent line that at least moves across western sections later. Curious as to how much lightning can be generated as well. One thing to watch as well is we'll see a sharp spike in dewpoints just out ahead of the line, so while instability numbers won't be eye popping we'll see rapid destabilization out ahead of the line...something that can enhance upward acceleration of parcels. jbenedet
I’d actually prefer a snowless winter to just end this debate once and for all. Just slay it. I want the headlines. A big part of this trap is the subtlety of the rate of change… It’s time we all came around to a common reality on this topic.

SouthCoastMA
I would be all for Winters that are relatively torch, but leave room for a big dog or two. Best of both worlds. I don't like it when Christmas torches so it would be nice for those couple of weeks to be seasonably cold.

Letting a joke about a mid October freeze get to you will have you getting multiple stents before the solstice.
