My weather and beer peeps! Miss you all. I need to check in here more often even when it’s not winter  @nw baltimore wxDewey Pumpkin sounds amazing. Love to try that. Discovered a really good brewery last weekend on the way home from OC. Definitely worth a stop in Denton. Eden Town Brewing. Highly recommend. Anyway—have a great weekend everyone!

Good morning all from NM. Just had to share this shot of afternoon storms we encountered coming back from Santa Fe on the Rail Runner. The lightning was beautiful to see in this landscape. Got back to Albuquerque and beat another storm to get back to our house sit in Nob Hill before the skies opened up again.

Stellar fall morning.  In and out of clouds, nice temps, slight breeze.  No complaints.

Normally this webcam of Wildwood Crest NJ shows the beach with the ocean in the top half... it's now all ocean.  Looks rough on the jersey shore. https://surfchex.com/cams/wildwood-crest-nj/

You think that looks bad, well look at this from 15 th Street , North Wildwood looking up the beach towards 26 th street.  Appears large chunks of the beach has washed away, you can see the steep drop off. several feet of sand missing, maybe more. 

The damage is extensive. Was just there last week surfing and it was a great day. The storm will continue to cycle for the next 36 hours. More damage and loss of beach to continue.

Yikes. It's always worst in North Wildwood. My extended family has had property in Wildwood/Crest since the 80s and this erosion looks to be some of the worst in a long while.

I've got a few sprinkles here in the lowlands. I can see totally clear sky to my west. Looks like a different world about 20 miles away.

I believe the Inlet at First and Second streets and the curve of the beach there causes the effect of the exsisting incoming waves and swells to enhance the erosion.

Glad my kids game was at 9am, we finished up with a cold windy drizzle. Just enough to be annoying.

Very light rain has started with a breeze around 20mph. Looks like heavier stuff coming in next few hours.

Drove north on 1 into Bethany for lunch, had to turn around. 1 is flooded out north of Fred Hudson road
