Thanks, I didn’t think about checking cocorahs.  However, that station is about 1 mile ENE of me.  The Wed total there was likely way more than mby.  Either way, when you're -15" in the hole, 2.78" in 7 days is merely temporary relief.

Hoping a meaningful pattern change is in-progress and that it benefits all areas of the region.

This was a premier event up here. Did pretty well with the initial showers on Wednesday, so I’m thinking ~4” here. The stream next to my place which feeds into Carroll Creek was dry and now flowing again. Unlike a lot of our cloudy stretches, this was a precip producer…though I’m definitely ready for a return of sunshine and warmer weather.

Very weird.   The website is how I always access it.  For over a week I got a message about building a new site and there was no data available.  That's when I went to the mobile app.  But that only gives daily info and after midnight it's gone.  Now, this afternoon I can access the website again.  I'm just glad to have it back.

Not surprisingly, we did even worse than I thought.... 2.11" storm total.

For your sake, I agree. The four inch soil moisture numbers show the winners and losers from the past several days.

This batch moving through means business. 2.23” since 6:30 pm. Event tally so far is 4.33” which is easily the best rain I’ve had since moving here nearly 4 years ago.

Narrow band set up shop over head this morning bringing the total to 4.89" thus far. @MillvilleWx I've thought all along what an incredible snowstorm this would have been. Imagine our thunderous squall we experienced yet for several hours at a time. Yes, please and thank you I'll take another lol.

The totals on the above map in Fallston of between 2 and 3 inches is right for the farm. We are probably around 2.4” with whatever has fallen this AM adding to it. That 3.5” over in Edgewood is reflective of the weird storm approach on Thursday to Fallston that fell apart and re-formed just past Fallston and unloaded on 95.

 

SUPER glad for the last 60 hours of rain at the farm - hugely beneficial and hugely needed at a critical juncture as we’ve been getting flowers into the fields in the previous weeks…
