Sitting at 1.45 for the event i guess if the models are right my area should have an outside shot at 3" that would put a decent dent in the deficit at least

Drizzle. Still nothing in the gauge. Hopefully the scraps over the next couple days can bring a half inch or so over here.

0.17 overnight.  Not much but better than the zero we usually get.  The forecast looks good, but I think we end up with less than half inch all the way thru Monday here

Yeah. This looks like a west of DC event. The drought will rage on here. Sprinkles for days is just annoying. I rather it just be sunny and dry AF.

A lot of variation in the guidance on how today goes rain-wise. 3k NAM most rainy and most widespread. Hrrr mostly meh for everyone. Hopefully a euro/NAM blend works out through today and tomorrow.

0.54 for today. 0.06 yesterday. MUCH more (2"+) fell just to my north up in Bath and Highland counties. I'll call that a win, headwaters for both the James and Potomac watersheds. Let's hope for another 1-2 area wide over next couple of days. Currently 52.9/52.0 with light rain here.

For fuckssake, I am maybe 15 southeast of parkton and we have .35 at the farm for the last 36 hours. What an infuriating set of mostly misses - an inexplicable storm approach fall apart and reform situation Thursday evening and then watching the rain shield refuse to budge for half the day yesterday before delivering light rain for hours. We really need better luck than that the next 48 hours - the fields need way more than that given how dry it was coming into this event. Unfortunately, this AM looks south of Fallston - hoping like hell this PM sends a slug of rain to my part of the area.

This is NOT a Drought buster but it is absolutely wonderful.

200% of normal for 2 to 3 months would break the drought.

Sorry friend. Rain yesterday def hugged the MD/PA line for a few hours. I just got lucky I guess

Feels similar to Memorial Day weekend 1996, which was in the fifties and raining the whole time.
