That had been my thinking.  When I vertically inserted the snow shovel, I could see it 3-4" into the stuff - not really surprising for snow that's 98.6% air.

There is… still some large scale wind drifts as patches and small patches left in the high NE facing spruce forests.  Getting down there though to the final coldest/shadiest spots.

Dews in the 20s with clear skies are not giving me a lot of hope up here.  Wind is staying up though, so hopefully the bottom doesn’t fall out.

Could see us around freezing by morning though.

It was chilly playing golf this evening when the wind was blowing and sitting out on the deck at the clubhouse afterwards.

Big way in that there were a ton of them this winter diving down …every few days there’d be one. Ya they didn’t get underneath and redevelop, and were moisture starved, but that’s what clippers are more times than not.  I know what you’re talking about though…and yes those work great for us here.
