I always love that radar view! But man... missed out on 4+ additional hours of mostly snow by about 10 miles!! What a great storm Sussex to Rockland to Westchester to Fairfield!! A few flakes finally mixing back in though after a few hours of all sleet.

Wannabehippie
I would have to stick my head out on to my balcony to find out if it is all snow by me, or if it is a mix of snow/sleet. But at 14 degrees outside, it is not worth it. Accuweather, weather channel both say it is all snow in Riverdale, NJ.

I dont even wanna think about the cement that must be the end of my driveway. Maybe ill just let it melt in march. At 12 degrees it's probably more granular than it is cement, unless you've been mixing salt in with it.
mob1
3 minutes ago, Rjay said: About 40 miles from glory for the entire sub Still a super cool storm. In a way, what we saw today is equally as impressive as an 18" storm. Just hours and hours of pouring sleet after 6-10" of snow region-wide.

Well the plows did that for me. And then pushed it into a pile. Pretty sure they have cameras on me, only time i see a plow is when i just finish my driveway.

Similar here but it hasn't increased the total snow depth due to compaction. Keeps the roads fcked though and lots of work for the snow plow drivers. Snowlover11
Finally got the guts to clean the car, what a disaster. Finally switched to sleet here. Already a solid glaze on top. Thank god this was pure fluff. My back is already on fire though. Had 3 foot drifts on the right side of my car.
