FWIW (little) the HRRR has the snow fighting back more in the latest run. Looking at the radar it seems easily on the overly optimistic side but kinda tracks in a qualitative way if people are indeed seeing switches back to snow. Hopefully people can sneak in a little more off the back of the type fight.

9.5 degrees up here and dumping snow. Hope to stay snow for another 2-3hrs min with these rates i'd break 6".  Sitting at 4-5" already.

Moderate to heavy precip in Marshall right now -- maybe 75% snow, 25% sleet?  It was almost all sleet about 20 minutes ago.

Was out for a 90 min Jebwalk here in Alexandria--turned to sneet just as i came back about 10 minutes ago, but our rates also dropped way down. Radar reflectivity dropped by a good 10 dbz, so can't imagine that's helping. Just under 5 here depending on where i measure.

Man.. that would be awesome. This storm is turning out to be pretty rad. Still snowing here with maybe a ping ping. I've got a solid 5+" base of snow down. 2-3" of sleet in top would be fun. Hit it with .25 of sealer later and we have a winter wonderland.

I think the snow im getting is grown UNDER the warm nose. Very strong cold CAD. Tiny flakes, poor growth, but still sn nevertheless
