Rhode Island and East Mass will do well with this one regardless. Most in NYC metro have under an inch so far, so this would verify on the low end of the regionwide 3-5" winter weather advisory.

I think the WWA was for 2 to 4.

What is the CPK measurement so far?

2 inches here from round one this morning. A nice two part event where we should get another 2 inches during the afternoon and evening. Maybe 3 if we're lucky to make it 5 inches for today. We got the 2 yesterday so this is turning out to be quite a weekend with a few different rounds of snow.

Very little to speak of here.  Temp stubbornly mid 30s and the slushy ~0.5" that accumulated when it was a bit heavier is sliding off the cars etc.  Just 3-4 miles north where I was this morning though different story.  Probably between 1.5 and 2", accumulated on most surfaces other than roads,  and was coming down good for awhile.  Was drizzly there too as I was headed back here though.

1.3 inches here as of 9:30. I didn't think it was accumulating either but the 26° temperatures and the constant light snow doing it's thing, 6.1 inches now for the weekend.

Remember for those of us that had snow yesterday, it's not depth today it's what you accumulate today. I know it sounds silly to remind people but the "official" rules for measuring seem to change every other year.

A bit over 2" now. Flakes are tiny but still coming down nicely and accumulating. It's a dense mat that's deceptively difficult to scrape and it's pretty heavy. Yay

Slept in and missed the first round. Ewall radar had all snow for NYC, but I'm guessing it was too warm at the surface for accumulations?

They likely got 0.5 to 1 inch but don't think they measured so it would have melted by the time they do.

So in reality 0.5 to 1 inch but they will not count it.
