deck is a sheet of ice here, hoping temps rise overnight, we have work and places to go, this is the one thing I don't like about winter weather...ZR!

Some light sleet and freezing rain,  our driveway is already a sheet of ice. Radar looks super paltry, hopefully not much precip overnight. 27 degrees

Up to 30.  No cold drainage on a south wind.  Expecting minimal impacts here.

Snowcover was nice for the 2 days it lasted. Will be a dream tomorrow

Light freezing rain here. Glad I don’t have to travel tomorrow. The road and side roads to the main road are an absolute disaster. They do a horrific job plowing those here. Barely even seems like they did the road next to me. It will be a total ice rink in the morning.

Not here,  it should easily last. So little precip and only a few hours of maybe low 40s. I'd watch for the flash freezes tomorrow afternoon

every year they're out there throwing sparks at nothing, but the other night didn't see a plow until well after midnight, they're out now slipping and sliding up the hill trying to treat it, waste time and resources early and if we have a rough winter cry about budget in February they're out of sand and salt etc...btw, still 30 and pretty steady ZR here now, my station needs new batteries so closest one will have to due

Latent heat release is real.

SLK with a quick 0.07” at temps in the 20s.  Gotta be slick out there.

The ice maps are just QPF at temps 32F or lower… but a tenth of an inch as ZR gets slippery in a hurry on roads, driveways, parking lots, etc.

Just drove home…30 and freezing rain.  Truck was encased. Anything not treated is an ice sheet.

Got pretty deep cover here…8 plus inches…And now it’s got an ice layer on top. I don’t thing we lose it here. But I guess we’ll see.

I doubt you will, but you also had twice as much as here, and will lock in the cold a bit better. Already above freezing here, after touching close to 40 earlier in the day

Very true. Wow..you guys were near 40 today?  That’s impressive.  Temp only got to 31 here before dropping off as the sun went down.
