I personally find Ji pretty funny lol. The man has never broken character once in the 20+ years I've been reading his posts. He is a unique character that embodies the sum of every MA weenies neurotic thoughts. He's literally an exponentially amplified algorithm that includes a piece of all of us. I can relate to that. I was on one of my work trips years back and I witnessed a 3’+ lake effect storm in western NY (an hour SW of buffalo). It was awesome, but it just didn’t have the same feeling of getting a home grown blizzard around here.

I've been lurking around those fourms lately. Ours is by far the best. We have so many colorful personality here. The humor in here is super underrated and our top poster are world class mets imo.

mitchnick lives in southern PA lol. He had one beautiful run from the GFS. a foot and never saw it again. I get that it was never our storm but having NYC get it is disgusting. I hope its a sleet bust

This is by far the best forum. Philly and NY don’t have the passion, the expertise, the knowledge, and the personalities that the mid Atlantic forum does. This group obsesses over every storm. Love it.

So far it is still all sleet as a lull sets up over NYC proper. It’s reaching into unmitigated disaster territory if it doesn’t flip back soon.

Ok. He’s about 45 minutes north. Could be big difference between city and suburbs. Meanwhile, 31 and drizzle here.
