My baby son is due tomorrow morning, so it may very well be that we'll be driving through the snow on slippery roads to get to the hospital. It won't take much snow to make the roads dicey especially with cold temperatures overnight. Fortunately it's only a 10 minute drive and we'll give ourselves extra time to get there.

Will probably be busy over the next couple of weeks, but I'll try to pop in here if there's something else to track.

May it snow tomorrow and everyone gets at least 1"!

Wowww congratulations Terp! Hey bringing him into the world the way of a snowlover :D Prayers for a safe delivery and a safe trip there!

Us northern tier folks just can’t win anymore. It’s either south of us or so far north it doesn’t matter. Congrats dc south crew.

The good stuff is so far south that I almost don’t even care lol. I think winter is showing hints that we’re gonna be dealing with another uphill battle to get a sizable snowstorm here.

Not sure what exactly is LWX's criteria is for a WWA but I'm a little surprised they have not pulled the trigger for the DC metro (or at least south of the Potomac) given (1) upside potential of an inch+, (2) timing (morning commute), (3) cold ground/road temps at onset, and (4) first event of the season.

They have been doing this for ages, good luck getting them to stop wasting the taxpayers money.

Wasting money or brining... They have only been brining the roads for the last 15 years or so. Also, anyone that think the brine is beet juice or anything else... It is 77% water and 23% salt... so just another way to ruin our vehicles.

It’s because it’s happening in the morning during the commute.
