I hope the GFS has the right idea. Great run for the north, would be a great start for ski resorts.

ggem is very different than the gfs h5-h7 mid-level vorticity more organized and slower

Lol . Silly.. they've already had a " great start " weeks ago with the Snow they have already gotten. Nice practice be aggressive post though.

Canadian is marginally cooler than the gfs, but also completely less impressive. Good snow is confined to a small area.

I stand corrected, but I am glad to see it looks like they will keep doing well. I am going to be skiing a lot in December, so I have a good reason to be excited for the north. Plenty of time for my area to get snow later in the month.

I'm not crazy with the trend with the high placement and strength.on some of the modeling. Definitely makes it more challenging for those of us further south as the warmer air aloft surges northward.  We're threading the needle as we want a more dynamic system vs a weak shredded POS but with a track and high placement that will help keep the cold air in place longer.

It was solid for tropical season but there were big misses too. Obviously a different season we’re tracking now so we’ll see.
