I’m quite sure we’ll have a few accumulating snow storms in Dec.. but the duration of the favorable period shrinking this week , losing the NAO.. is a growing worry. Weeklies last year looked good almost each run and we know how that worked. I’ve hated the look of the fast flow Pacific flow all autumn .. allowing for 1 coastal and any others blowing up over the Stellwagen Bank . All that allows for are fast moving lake cutters and windy CAA. If trends continue negatively the next few few days .. we’ll all be throwing in our towels into a pile in the lockeroom looking at each others limply hanging junk . Steelwagon bank blow ups still might make Ray and some other central Eastern and Northern folk happy.

weathafella Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Enjoy it while you can. We rolled into Chicago dinner time last night with temps in the low 50s. Today windy and low to mid 30s with intermittent flakes (very light). Looks to stay sub freezing most of the next 7 days. 3-6 or more Saturday/Saturday night looking increasingly likely.

If things go according to plan, then an introduction of winter probabilities in the first week of December isn’t ridiculous This worked out reasonably well
