Hate to drive the stake deeper into your rear vortex…but it was a foot plus with blizzard conditions, right on the beaches last year down there on the gulf coast of western Florida, Alabama and New Orleans. The good news is…we are going to get ours this year…it’s our turn this winter. 2

Funny how hard 3/4sm -SN seems when you haven’t seen it in a while. Feels like +SN to an uncalibrated mind early season. You mean the Deep South seeing flakes before SNE doesn’t do it for you? it’s easier at this point to just accept it’s not going to snow, and if it happens, be pleasantly surprised 1
tavwtby
basically had a flash freeze here after a pleasant temp day, saw first flakes, just a couple randos, but has a good cold feel out there...on a side note, my anemometer intermittently has stopped working so I don't know what speed gusts are etc, sucks I can't afford another station.

Need a few late blooming Miller B’s to CCB Essex County on the way out this winter. Feels like that used to happen with frequency in the 2000s and 2010s. Essex County…NY? 4
mreaves
I ended up with 1.74” of rain between the start as snow and the end as snow. This was a good precip event for us. It didn’t rain so hard that it all ran off, the ground isn’t frozen and vegetation is dormant so it’s all going to the aquifer. Sitting on the board of my village water District made acutely aware of how dry we’ve been.

And I wouldn't be shocked if the deep south got smoked due to some suppressed cut off while northern areas get shut out again. You will not get a storm unless the Pacific jet from hell abates.
jsw
Now, 31/25. We got about a half inch of rain for the duration. Came down in buckets for about a half hour yesterday evening. Good to see some snow high up and up North! Mountains are also blowing snow like crazy. My favorite time of year--first snow to end of March. I would love to get a 13/14 type winter this year. Also first flakes here in the bronx atm

CoastalWx
Might also be able to see some flakes tomorrow as warm advection tries to set up. Hi Res seems like pike south may have best chance of flakes today as moisture tries to connect from the lakes. Although, I think anybody has a chance.
