Out changing my caterpillar bags and it's so oppressive out.  It feels hard to breathe.  I don't know how the old timers did it without AC down here in the olden times.  Has to be the most important invention of all time other than electricity or antibiotics ..

There's a reason farmers would get up at 5am to start their day. Working in the mid-day summer sun was avoided if possible

southern europe has/had similar behaviors. Siestas/riposos were a midday break to shut down your business, go home, and/or rest. Typically in the early afternoon

37 minutes straight of extremely heavy rain and still dumping. 450 from Crofton to Annopoils is experiencing flash flooding capable of washing vehicles off the road. The South River Watershed is experiencing extreme rainfall and flash flooding. The rain is absolutely roaring.

We've been hearing it 3 miles down 450 near Annapolis Reservoir, but just now getting a little rain from it.  On radar, cell seems to be parked over Crofton, more or less. Curious what's in my home gauge.

I guess for me it would be trying to go to sleep with the house like 85 degrees.  I'd live in the basement I think,.though that would probably get all moldy pretty quick.

The water is coming! I'm just east of Crofton and it's a flood emergency situation. I've got a new lake in haven't seen in years.

I received 2.40" in about 45 minutes. The second round looks juicy.

Mostly light rain here, though there is some lightning involved.  Congrats to those closer to 95...the models did a good job yesterday highlighting that area.

You think that line that is building back near Winchester will hold into here? I was trying to understand why we were under the Severe T Storm watch and Flash Flooding watch. Am guessing for the potential for the second round up here?

Looks like it could roll through, but I'm not too hyped on round 2's.  I feel like we want to strike while the iron's hot (aka when the atmosphere is ripe).

Over 2” in under a hour with more to come. Definitely some flooding going to be occurring across parts of the state. We grabbed 1.41” earlier from the lone cell in AA Co. Should crack 2” in total once this batch from the southwest blows through
