For SNE…pick the tamest solution on any one model at any given time and there’s your forecast. Sloppy inch or two in the hills. Maybe some pellets for the low landers N of the Pike.

I really think the sleet is being underplayed .. it could potentially end up being like 1"-1.5" of QPF as sleet between the Pike and SNH

at some point the cold is just going to overwhelm the soundings and the edgy models that are IP/cat pawing may bust ... it's like venturing too close to the 'thermal event horizon' and the phase change physics pulls you down.

Tip, I apologize for messing with your post earlier. I won't do it ever again.

I really enjoy when you recognize a pattern then get into serious, energetic, enthusiastic analysis mode! That's when you start making those trillion dollar posts like the one at the beginning of this thread, and when I read it I feel like I just won 50 billion dollars on the mega millions. I really truly seriously love those posts you make where you analyze a promising pattern, setup to a decent blizzard for the SNE.

So cold begets cold, and the storm makes it's own cold. Got it!

Burlington more bullish.

Yeah BOX has been very conservative with amounts, and I don't see their expected snowfall lining up, 1.6 for my area? Wonder if they know something we don't because that doesn't make sense to me, even with the risk of it trending north last minute

Which if I recall is less than the expected total that was posted this morning, think that was 3 something, wonder why they trended down when everyone else is trending up

I think they’re just being realistic.  There’s still plenty of time for this to turn into a sleet storm all the way up to Concord.
