...POTENTIAL WINTER COMMUTING HAZARD FOR THE BALTIMORE
METROPOLITAN AREA MONDAY MORNING...

There is a potential for hazardous commuting conditions for the
Monday morning morning commute. A period of snow is POSSIBLE (a
30 to 50 percent chance) Monday morning across the Baltimore
metro area into north-central Maryland. A coating up to an inch
of accumulation is possible along with the potential for snow
covered roads.

If this threat does materialize during the Monday morning commute,
many roads could quickly turn snow covered. This could lead to
dangerous traveling conditions, multiple accidents, and extensive
delays.

We couldn’t make it to Blackwater Falls for sledding this morning as it was near white out conditions on 219. We turned around in Oakland, came back home, and went sledding here instead. Gorgeous day….got chili in the crockpot, fire going, and ready to watch playoff football. Down to 15.3.

I was wondering about roads when you said you were heading down.  But they really cleared up after noon.  BWF park was beautiful today!  Turned out to be a great day despite the temperatures.

It's 19/14 outside with freezing drizzle. It is getting on everything. This place is going to turn into a world-class ice skating rink worthy of the Winter Olympics.  That 14 mph north wind is tearing up my cedar pollen ravaged nose and throat. It's no fun at all going out to check the miniature donkeys water bucket and damn near fell on my sorry Sooner 8ss!!!

Down to 19.5/9.7 with a WNW wind 8 gusting to 19. That makes wind chill now between 9 and 4 degrees. I just finished shoveling driveway after the snowblower decided it didn't want to participate. @Jebman would be proud, my driveway is 1/4 mile long lol.

Mine is only about 350’ and I got my 15 year-old son to help me shovel it today.  Piece of cake with the fluffy light snow. But he still complained a bit and asked me how I did it alone when we had 36” of snow in 2016 or 46” in 2010.  I told him I’ve been waiting a long time for his help lol.
