Exactly, he's taken a lot of abuse himself . He has every right to shoot back. My guess is he's a pretty decent dude.

A few years ago I chatted with him a bit in messaging and he was a good guy.  That is why, not his critiques or meteorological assertions bothered me, but his personal attacks against Mets, particularly when they have been right so much more often than he.  That why a genuine apology is warranted in my view.

I’m not sure if this is the pattern per se but Well...The pacific sucked , and has persisted in being sucky as the ridge axis set up further west than medium term guidance seemed to show for the entire month , until it decided to just squeal like a pig the last few days

Epic

Pattern didn't suck at all. The resultant snowfall in our back yards did

Exactly. And that's the only thing people care about. Folks couldn't care less if the charts show the greatest block in recorded history if it's raining and 55° on New Year's Eve.

Right, but all I'm saying is that the pattern that people were excited about materialized for the most part. We got a huge NAO block and the PNA went positive. Details like the ridge being a bit too far to the west and the PV getting stuck out there are details you worry about closer in.

We had the greatest pattern ever and struck out.  It's kind of ironic that we're getting guidance giving us some snow in at best a transitional pattern from dogshit.  Of course the calendar helps but the point is you never know....and nothing has happened yet.
