Wife and I are tutoring (math somehow) at a local sports camp. Two days a week.  Great side gig

And you probably make as much in those two days then you do a full week during the school year lol. A bit exaggerated there I know but teachers are grossly underpaid (and under appreciated) from what I know.

My district pays me appropriately I feel.  The tutoring gig, however, pays ridiculously well.  The camp has $$$

I have employing the use of NAM ..( used to be NGM/ETA ) FOUS grids since I came of Met age ... back whence the dinosaurs ruled... and I can honestly say, I have never seen RH levels this parched at all major ceiling levels ( bold left) at T1 temperatures ( bold right), that would support 2-m T of 86

that's @<25% RH at 1000, 700, and 500 mb Sunday at 18z under the tallest hottest sun of the year.    For lawn enthusiasts...?

dead meat.  Tell you what, if we don't get that back-hung 3 hours of steady anvil rain tomorrow evening...  that should red flag-aroni warnings

Numerous fires burning down there?  My family hasn’t mentioned that.  I should probably call to make sure everyone is safe.  Thanks for the heads up.

Nobody will answer, they are all busy fighting the fires.

Out on the front lines, dragging buckets of water from the lake to protect life and property.  My dad lit his hedges on fire for a controlled burn to create a fire break for when the big one comes.  Sounds dire down there.

Beer doesn’t give you visuals.  To imagine western drought and everything around you literally on fire, that’s more of a shrooms or acid trip.

Mild evening, 73/64.  Had a brief thunderstorm, will see if we get anything else overnight.

Nantucket is insanely nice, despite a bit of over development and some deplorable people.  Where on the island are you?

Models all over the place for the next 24 hours. Some have a couple tenths here, while others have an inch and a half of rain.

Im leaning towards Stein.

I hope it Steins.  We're supposed to go to a big extended family event in Middleboro.
