It's been a decently warm June so far too lol. Its just a coating where I actually live in center city closer to 250 ft asl...but Pippy Park at 700 ft is where I took pics. They'll probably pick up 4" up there before the night is over.

Sun angle fail.

Lucky me swimmin' in my ability
Dancin' down on life with agility
Come and drink it up from my fertility
Blessed with a bucket of lucky mobility
My mom I love her 'cause she love me
Long gone are the times when she scrub me
Feelin' good my brother gonna hug me
Drink my juice young love chug-a-lug me

Perfection. Yesterday was amazing. I did a whole weeks worth of outside work in a day. Started at 530 with the partial eclipse ended at 830 with a swim. Even broke out the chainsaw to cut down nuisance bushes and small trees obstructing the view up the hill out of the driveway.  Give me this for days and days.

I can’t wait to see snow in August.  I’ve only ever seen it once in August at the bottom of Tuckerman’s ravine

We had slushy drops in late August 1982, near 1,000' in Fort Kent's Violette Settlement.  Also snow, not quite enough to whiten the lawn just a very pale green, on 6/9 80 at about 550' in town.  None in July though we lost half our pumpkins to frost on 7/31/78 at that in-town location and the next door neighbor's beans were toast.  (No competition with the Chic-Chocs for year-round winter, of course.)

No top 10 up here. 50° and ovc. Should be some showers later.

Same temp and sky.  Had a few drops pre-dawn, looks like that may be it until late Sunday.  Today's sprinkle made it 7 of 11 days with at least a trace this month, but 0.06" in 11 days works out to about 2"/year.  In Fort Kent planting my garden turned on the wind (and snow in 1980.)  Here it turns off the rain - it's done that each of the past 5 years though last year and this have been the worst.
