Thanks for measuring, I did earlier before the sleet and saw 3.5...didn't sleet too long, but enough to ruin any additional accumulation.

Yeah, caught the measure right as we transitioned over to mostly sleet.  This stuff was super easy to clear, like snow blowing feathers, haha.

12z 3k NAM thermal profiles for here were dead on.  Hinted at a little sleet around 2pm and cooled the mid levels back to 0C or below by 3pm.  Currently, precipitation here is light but is back to all snow.

Temp 27.6

N Smithtown, NY

our heaviest was up til 1 PM that was wonderful, nothing much after that

NAM has been great with these mid level warm layers this year.

This is the radar back at 12:30pm when snow was heaviest for me.           Basically stopped an hour later.

Still snowing in Monmouth County measured about 8 inches total so far. Changed over to sleet for a bit. But mostly snow.

Jackpot zone.  We're about 15 miles north of you and have 5-6 here

Looks like for the NYC Metro 2-4" from round 1 and then maybe another 1-3" over the next 18 hours for a total of 4"-7" or so. But in C & C/S NJ, they could be looking for a storm total of around a foot, with 8-10" alone from round 1.

Yeah this wasn't much around here, 2-4 and 4 I think is pushing it. reminds me of every storm in 2015. Anyway, starting to get ZR now and it is building up.
