Wind has been quite underwhelming here so far. Probably not above 25-30 MPH gusts. 1.26" through the tipper though with more coming...may finish around 2".

I've had bigger winds from run of the mill lows this past winter than from this one, but we'll see how I do with the backside westerly winds later.

Winds of pretty much flat lined here the last couple of hours at a level or two short of damaging.  Mainly small branches and debris tossed around with the lights flickering a couple of times.  Rainfall has been copious.

Same here, highest wind gusts were around 11am. Pretty meh here otherwise. Power washing combination of wind gusts and heavy rain.

Oh that's good to know. I thought it was.

It’s tough to get a near instantaneous mechanical sensor since you need to get a specific number of revolutions per given time to determine a speed. There’s just not enough rev samples if you try to cut it down to under a second. Now they could be using a 3rd party ultrasonic sensor that would have instantaneous capability, but my assumption was that they had the cups. Here’s Davis’ speed equation calculation...

Nothing to sneeze at, it was roaring most of the day, my yard is again littered with branches and sticks.
