God forbid someone have a different schedule or lifestyle.  Lol

You have to be encouraged by the Euro,  not far from a blue bomb for you

Some of these weenies stay up all night for fantasy runs and then sleep all day. But yeah, there are some with different schedules.

6z euro should be more amped vs 00z. Man, they claim they got rid f the bias of euro burying/retro energy to the west, but still seems evident based on prior runs.

Some have newborns forced awake a few times a night....Others have the case of the shits. You just never know.

Bladder calls me at 3 almost every night, was considering a quick look at the Euro last night but being up at 445 /5 every day I figured back to sleep for another couple

That's a lot of s/w energy diving into the trough. Too bad 6z euro op cuts off at hr 90.  Verbatim that would be tough for snow to start even into NNE, but again..wish we could see future panels.

Yeah I’ve never understood that either. You’ll find out in the morning what overnight runs did . Why stay up all night to either lose even more sleep due to excitement or being pissed off based on results ?

It's not the kill, it's the thrill of the chase

People can do whatever they like. It still doesn’t mean it’s not odd. We all have oddities

Sure, like humidity fetishes that generate fantasies of driving a swamp bus that everybody wants a ticket to get on.

Funny that the FV3 track may end up being correct.

Way too cold right now. Euro is a soaker but very close to bombing further south.  PWATS are way AN

Ukie looked interesting too despite way out there. I can't tell with the 24 hr panels, but it looked like the s/w diving through the Great Lakes at hr 90 on the euro, was overhead here on the UKMET. It looked like a chilly airmass.

6 hr panels are meh, UKMET has a 973 at hr 120 way out past the BM

When I was young the week leading up to a severe threat I would sleep like 4 hours a night lol. Would stay up for the 0z models, then stay up for the SPC outlooks and 6z runs, sleep a bit, then wake up for 12z runs.

If bladder call is prior to 4:30, I answer it.  If it’s 4:30 or later, ignore or I may oversleep. Haven’t set the alarm in 15 years.

Wasn't even looking at thermals.  From a mere track perspective, it looks like it will piss on the Op GFS for this one.

I despise alarms.  Teach yourself to wake up naturally.

With all the commercials I see on TV I guess I should feel lucky to have dry undies at the end of the day...lol.

That 850 airmass is no joke for Saturday. Looks like the record low 850 temp at day is around -18C...won't break it but could come within a few degrees of it.

A storm like what the 12z/18z FV3 GFS had yesterday is what we'd need to get snow down here. Maybe theres room to still get back there..but best shot looks to be in Maine now

This never had a chance. Best shot is going bowling early next week with a better airmass.

What's odd is those guys who are out running in the dead, cold of winter at 4:00-5:00am.
