February - 3" QPF / 6.5" snow

January - 4.5" QPF / 2.4" snow

December - 4.3" QPF / 0.0" snow

Novemeber - 9.7" QPF / 6.0" snow

4 mo total - 21.5" QPF / 14.9" snow

I only got 4.8 inches of snow during this winter here in NYC.

5.3 in the November event

Everyone was excited for an EL Nino

Maybe we will have better luck with a La Nina.

It’s been awhile since we’ve had something that looks decent. It’s not a Ku look but I’ll take it.

The bullets in the chamber have a high chance to be B-B’s.

The real sensible change is seasonably cold temps.

Anything amped would be difficult given the flow, but it would likely cut if able.

You want a warning event , pray...

Yeah hard to believe all the other guidance will cave the other direction. Euro has been trending toward them and I expect that to continue at 12z.

Well, I defer to both of you before any local MET ideas here...so I believe you guys. So We’ll see in a little while I guess.  Hope you guys are right.

Is ice accretion measured as a "radius" extending out from a branch or is the the entire diameter of accretion?

Easiest way to do radial is measure the total thickness from end of ice to end of ice and subtract out the thickness of the branch, then divide by two.
