Spanks45
We actually hit 50 degrees today, the sun felt great. After an hour of being outside with the dog, in 1 inch high grass, I pulled off 2 ticks...As much as I love snow, I think we need a January 94 type cold for a few weeks with bare ground. I can only imagine this spring is going to be awesome with ticks and mosquitoes (there is a ton of standing water already).
mreaves
My brother was having lunch in Perry, GA today when they were evacuated into the back room of the restaurant because of tornado. He said he didn't see it but there were a lot of car alarms going off. The restaurant comped their drinks lol.

dendrite
This explains it. Light NE flow at ORH must be plenty enough to downslope TOL.

#NoPoles
Hasn't been the greatest stretch of weather here near the coast. Basically upper 40s but lacking sun. I definitely wouldn't call it horrible...the wind has been unusually calm so it has been pleasant to go outside. Sun came out for a bit this morning and took advantage of it and went for a walk. Now socked back in with clouds

Try this: http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/map/?&zoom=8&scroll_zoom=true¢er=42.08599350447723,-72.08129882812499&basemap=OpenStreetMap&boundaries=true,false,false&obs=true&obs_type=weather&elements=temp,wind,gust&obs_popup=false&obs_density=1 You can play around with coverage as well as what values it displays. I like how it updates automatically and allows you to pan and zoom as well.
