Continuing to see the mins be a bit more impressive than the maxes at stations like LGA.

77 min yesterday was the 4th warmest on record for September behind the record of 81 in 2010

93 max so far this month and record high yesterday is the 5th warmest on record for September below the record of 102 in 1953

Going the other way here...0.84" past 30 days.

It all evens out. We were dry in July, but starting in mid-August we got jackpotted on many events, from that crazy convergence line over northern long island which gave us 2 inches of rain, to Hermine raining over us for 3 days, to last night's deluge. I am looking at around 3-4 inches of rain in the past 3 weeks.

Last night's rain was some of the hardest since i have been in this house (18 months). Davis at one point had a rainfall rate of close to 3 inches an hour. It was pretty impressive.
