Impressive storms in Delaware

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...

SOUTHERN KENT COUNTY IN CENTRAL DELAWARE...

NORTHERN SUSSEX COUNTY IN SOUTHERN DELAWARE...

CENTRAL CAROLINE COUNTY IN EASTERN MARYLAND...

* UNTIL 1115 PM EDT

* AT 1014 PM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER DENTON...OR

15 MILES NORTHEAST OF EASTON...MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

HAZARD...PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL AND 60 MPH WIND GUSTS.

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED.

IMPACT...HAIL DAMAGE TO VEHICLES IS EXPECTED. EXPECT WIND DAMAGE

TO ROOFS...SIDING...AND TREES.

NYC finally clears the .5 level at .59 through 8 am. It's been so dry that this is only the

second .5 or greater event since February 25th. The last 1.0 or greater event was

back on February 24th. The last 2.0 event was the blizzard on January 23rd.

I believe the last 3.0 storm was 2 years ago  on April 30th 2014 unless I  missed one.
