This is for like 5 miles north of the south coast of RI. And is probably the warmest profile for the next 18 hours. It's the RAP btw. Time to revise the maps, again. I'd like to say I knew things would be further south than progged yesterday, but I certainly didn't think decent totals would get THAT far south.

The GFS had a weaker area of lift up your way Hippy into VT and NH. Sometimes there are hints you can look for. It actually worked out well.

 

Was a good spot for H7 too...decent saturation in SGZ for the first half of the system before it dried out a bit...I figured yesterday they needed to see some good bands by 10-11 am this morning, and they definitely were able to get them.

Yeah agree. NAM was a bit too dry there, but GFS was better up that way. Better forcing from Jet too up that way.
