Still holding at 21-22 here with the wedge holding firm, but nothing is falling at the moment.

 

That wedge should stay in place for your location northwest piedmont for quite some time. Well into tonight I think. Might even hang on this far east for another few hours.

Interesting about the snow mixing back in. Maybe higher rates in those bands causing that? Are they ice slivers, or full formed flakes?

Good question. I'm not sure. They looked like really small flakes that were not fully formed but had just enough to fall noticeably slower than sleet or frz rain.

 

In any case, they are no longer mixing in.

Baby snowflakes still occasionally drifting down. Sun must be getting through the clouds... downspouts are starting to drip. Roads are looking a little more wet rather than black ice glaze. Still holding at 28 at the house, up to 30 at KJNX.
