That's a mighty tall POP for that far out. That's what happens when everything is in agreement. That far out you're mainly talking just GFS and Euro. But we include WPC, and they involve the ensembles heavily in their forecast. The old guard was more of the mindset that you don't go likely or higher PoP after say day 5, but research has found when models agree on likely out on days 6,7, and 8 that more often than not it precipitates.
