JerseyWx
Chilly 38° out there, and it sure feels it. Don't know how the Giants survived that 11° weather after basking in 70s before Christmas.

This is for the Banter thread, but I didn't mean survive in terms of winning. 35° right now. Some sun mixed with the clouds.
CIK62
Based on the GFSx for the reminder of December: As of the first 27 days of the month 1557 + 1255 = 2812/54 = 52.1 avg. for first 27 days. with last 4 days 1751 + 1417 = 3168/62 = 51.1 avg. for whole month or a whopping +13.8degs. Last 4 days will avg. about 44 or +11. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/mos/getmex.pl?sta=KACY&sta=KEWR&sta=KNYC&sta=KJFK&sta=KLGA This run still does not guarantee a below normal day. ag3
It's already sleeting well south of where any model had it. Dew points are in the low 20s and 925 + 850 temps are well below freezing. Everyone should see a couple hours of snow/sleet. Coast included.

I would not count 1981-2010 averages anymore with the rate the climate is changing, I would go by last 20 year averages...1996-2015 to get a true representation of today's normal temps.
