    Very heavy snow.
  2. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

They actually do those?!? Wow. Learn something new every day.

I can't measure properly on my property. I have two snow holes, a wind tunnel, and too many overhangs (trees, roofs, etc.). The snow lover really knew how to pick his house. Plus, the snow melts off my property faster than any propert on the block.
  4. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

    No doubt. Among others, too.
  5. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

I guess the crown goes to Snow88.

And after closing (in what turned out to be) for unnecessary reasons today, they're not going to rush to close tomorrow. If they're going to close, they'd close at 5:00 AM.

On the official Twitter feed, they're still saying open. https://twitter.com/NYCSchools?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author
  8. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

It's snowing so heavily that the sky is an almost milky blue.
  9. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

Intensity has DEFINITELY picked up. Fingers and toes crossed.
  10. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

Looks pretty, but I'm not sure it's translating at the surface -- at least not yet. This storm, thus far, seems like the faded rock star trying to make a comeback but the vocals just aren't there after years of hard living/partying.
  11. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

Mean? It's true. It's pixie-dusting again, but the blacktop is starting to get covered. Sort of.
  12. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

Tell me about it. It's either feather snow or intense pixie dust.
  13. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

For me, in western Nassau, at this rate that'll total about 1 mm of accumulation. I might be exaggerating, but not by much. This storm seems to have literally been made for the 5 boroughs. This one seems almost like the inverse of two storms ago where I drove from Brooklyn, where it was sleeting, through Queens, where it was raining, into Nassau where it was snowing intensely.
  14. March 20th-22nd Not So Suppressed Storm Obs

It's snowing more consistently, but it's not sticking to the blacktop. But it's cold out there, I'll give it that.
