WxUSAF
Who would have thought we would do better with the squall? Not I, but that was awesome. Funnest 3 hour period this winter.
BTRWx
Ratios got us on this one. Did not get into good dendritic growth. Any ideas on qpf? eta: I guess it would no longer be considered quantified precipitation forecast, but you get the gist.
MN Transplant
3.8" off of 0.41" precip. After all of the 15:1 ratio talk, I had a very lame 9:1.
Wonderdog
Sorry if I annoyed anyone last night. Poor rates will do that to me. won't do that again.
BTRWx
3.8" off of 0.41" precip. After all of the 15:1 ratio talk, I had a very lame 9:1. That's a bit disappointing. At least the overall pattern seems to have shifted in our favor.
smokeybandit
And for all the closures today, the main roads are mostly clear and in my 22 mile drive to work, only the first and last mile did I need 4WD

WxUSAF
3.8" off of 0.41" precip. After all of the 15:1 ratio talk, I had a very lame 9:1. I was afraid of ratios not living up to the hype, but I still thought we'd be better than 10:1. That sucks.
NinjaWarrior2
3.5-4.0 inch total in Perry Hall, MD. Im satisfied, I feel like I made a decent forecast, I was one of the few going less than 6" for DC.
mdhokie
And for all the closures today, the main roads are mostly clear and in my 22 mile drive to work, only the first and last mile did I need 4WD My wife had to drive into balto city this morning and said 100 and 295 were pretty crappy. 2WD car though. I-83 BLIZZARD
An average of 2.75 here. Several spots 2.5 and a few 3 inch measurements at the top of the property. Office in Baltimore is closed, so my 2.75 is a win. Snow day and no work is never a fail for me.
mdhokie
I was afraid of ratios not living up to the hype, but I still thought we'd be better than 10:1. That sucks. Seems like the precip was a little less than forecast as well. DC was always on the .5 line. Maybe .1 less for everyone?
smokeybandit
My wife had to drive into balto city this morning and said 100 and 295 were pretty crappy. 2WD car though. From 175 to 195, 295 was 75-95% clear at 7am. The worst was just slush between the lanes and tire tracks.

BTRWx
I received a text from a friend this morning asking me to check road conditions and the mixing bowl looks very treacherous! http://ie.trafficland.com/560/full?system=trafficland-www&pubtoken=defb78629163624dd9d652b91576f19b9d7&cache=97078

Ravens94
Seems like locations east of i95 near the bay did the best around 4.3-4.6 in Essex. going over reports of 5 in Pasadena and 5 in Annapolis looks like perry hall has 4.0 with parkville
chris87
3.8" off of 0.41" precip. After all of the 15:1 ratio talk, I had a very lame 9:1. that's a big letdown -- call me fooled, i wouldn't had bet we'd be under
Ellinwood
This wasn't a bad storm, considering where we were at T-50 hours. We measured 3.5" in Gaithersburg. Might add another 0.1 - 0.2" if this back side holds together. I measured 2.8" by Lakeforest Mall just now (don't have a board to clear off to make proper measurements). SomeguyfromTakomaPark
I still give this event high marks despite the forecast bust on the part of everyone, beautiful powder scene outside and quite cold.
GATECH
Measured 6 on the dot. A bit disappointed, met wsw so that was my goal, but still
WVclimo
3.0" on 0.25" liquid. Currently, flurries and 10 degrees.
mattie g
Less than 4" on a fairly well-founded 6-10" forecast. This one goes down as a bust in my book. Will do liquid equivalent in the morning to see whether ratios or precip were to blame. I'm guessing both. I'll have to take a couple more measurements, but I quickly measured about 4.5" total earlier. I'm with you on the bust call though. The ratios were pretty frustrating, even if you only expected 12:1 or so. I'm not upset at getting my biggest snowfall so far in this lame snow season, but it's still a little disappointing. Fozz
As I said last night....awful event I liked it... getting a snowstorm with temps near 10 doesn't happen often. And for being on the northern fringe I thought I fared alright.

Kevin Druff
3.8" off of 0.41" precip. After all of the 15:1 ratio talk, I had a very lame 9:1. Same down here. Akq was talking 14:1 ratios in their disco yesterday. RIC ended up with 6" (ish, I haven't checked the official measure) from 0.7" qpf. I ended up with 7" and I probably had about the same qpf.
