It is 19 degrees and dropping about a degree every hour or two. Tomorrow morning we shall see which car batteries have enough "cold cranking amps". Grandfather Mtn, Nc at 5280 feet has winds ripping at 76 mph gusting to 88 mph Temp of 5* and wind chill of -64*. That is wild ass cold air and winds. This came at an awesome time as i am taking my kids skiing and snowtubing over the weekend. Some more echos building out west too. We'll see what they do later on. If someone here gets 7 or 8 that will probably beat totals further northeast up into New York city. Good weekend to take the kids there . Temps will be cold but not brutal. Matt, this final burst was prog'd to come through and push down to the northern neck. I've been super skeptical but I picked up 1.25 after the early heavy rates.
