Happy birthday to my favorite long time poster. Old Man Winter, Bostonfella has provided me with more insight and knowledge about New England weather than anyone. Jery's enthusiasm and love of life pours out from him. He is the only person I have ever met that calls Logan for hourly metars!!! Congrats my good friend and many many many more KU's to you

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't done that pre-droid. I did it in my high school bathrooms.

lol I havn't done that, but on the day before big storms Ill even risk having the itouch out in classes sometimes. I remember last year i was in Bio and the nam came out with like 1.7 or 1.8" qpf for a storm and we ended up with only 2". I think it was February 10.

:weenie: :weenie:

Oh and Happy Birthday!! :thumbsup::snowman:

Wow how did I miss this thread till I had some wine in me!

Steve...thanks so much for this thread my friend. I am fortunate to have a hobby that brings me to childhood so often. Maybe that's the secret.

In any case I'll know the answer to the song's question by 4:03AM. When my wife asked me some highlights while we were eating dinner, so many snow memories came up. My very earliest is my father holding me to the window during S++++. Was that the 1947 blizzard in the NYC area?

I've had a good life....I'm damned lucky....and I'm planning some more KUs.

And to my fellow snow weenies...I love you all. MJH, Bob, HubbDave, Reb Kev, Jay, Don, Joe (back!), yoda, cpickett...thanks for such kind words...I feel unworthy and am eternally grateful!
