    I can get some nice shots here with the wide open, flat landscape. Just have to jog down to the end of the driveway. This was an ok storm but looked pretty cool coming in.

    Last night was a pleasant surprise with direct hit of a slow backbuilding cluster right over southern Kent County. Lots of loud thunder for several hours. Best non-severe storm of the summer. I so much prefer this type of storm to a squall line that rushes through too fast to enjoy or provide good rain totals. Required a lot of luck.

    You are correct the processed data is listed as Berkeley station 35128, "WEST-CHESTER-1W" — monthly means, sole ID hadcru 720461, no COOP number - that is processed not raw data! This is a different animal entirely. The CSV matching the handwritten sheet says nothing about that file, because the CSV isn't its source this indeed looks to be West Chester 2NW old data! Below is the QC Check and of note only those 2 days in June 2 and 3 were flagged

    I think there was a low prob of storms here today? Didn't pay much attention. Look to get hit pretty good, although the line is moving quickly. Wind really gusting on the front end. Took a few pics before I hauled ass up the driveway and into the house with all the T&L.

    You're in a serious rain shadow there. I bet your annual rainfall is 30 or so inches while high elevations to your west are around 50 Nice-looking line moving into central Calvert. Seeing lightning now

    Lost power for 30 seconds and came back on, hallelujah! Spared after being hit during the heat wave. Over an inch of rain so far today. Plentiful T/L. Noisy. This is like a "if you enjoy the sound of summer thunder" line. Sound machine-worthy, classic.
