  3. I’d love to see St. Louis knock off Winnipeg in the first round.
  4. 90.5 today. These evening storms have had some torrential downpours.
  5. thundershower with gusty winds 25-30 mph now. Not severe but a nice t shower Need much more.
  6. The sample size isn’t large enough to know for sure one way or another, but given that AGW is accelerating rather than just steadily increasing, it’s worth keeping an open mind about his ideas. The snow decline is already happening in some southern areas, and it started before 2016. It’s a logical assumption to make that with additional warming since then, some areas farther north reached a tipping point. There isn’t anything wrong with discussing ideas about what the future holds and trying to figure out what is going on. There is no malicious agenda pushing going on here. If Bluewave is right he’s right, if he’s wrong he’s wrong. Maybe he’s right about some things, wrong about others (I would bet on this one). We all have our biases, but Bluewave is a fairly objective poster.
  7. holy crap a cell made it over the Blue Mts. I may actually experience a thundershower in the next 30 minutes. Its in eastern Berks near Kutztown. C'mon baby my air needs to cleaned out of pollen and the pollen cement dust needs to goo bye bye off my car.
  8. Watching this batch of heavier showers over EPA. Holding together and sliding ENE. If it holds together might get my area around 2 a.m. Moving along at about 20 mph.
  9. Could pass for July 2nd, just less humidity perhaps.
  10. It looked like the eclipse here prestorm…dark all around except some lit up midlevel cumulus directly overhead. It was creating shadows on the NW side of objects.
  11. Getting a nice downpour with thunder and lightning here.
  12. Nice evening, down to 63/59.
  13. Pop up glancing thundershower.. .03
  14. Today
  15. Tomorrow looks like a blowtorch too now-no rain until evening at best
  16. Mostly cloudy here in Frederick lol
  17. Wow! Do you have a higher resolution image ? That's a keeper for sure
  18. We had a pretty impressive highly localized hail storm west of the city today. I had to walk through a parking lot to get to my car. The hail and the melt water were deep enough that the water level was above my ankles and fully flooded my shoes. I tripped on the ice about 40 stairs up on an exposed outdoor staircase and promptly fell to the bottom. But I was able to prevent my head from bashing into the ground with my hands. Less than a mile away, no evidence of hail. The storm was about 4-4:30 pm, and the hail has still not fully melted off the car as I look at it now at 10 past 7 pm. I would guess we had 5-7 inches of accumulation of nickel to quarter sized hail even though temps never dropped below the 50s. Hail is nasty business as the ten cuts on my hands will attest to. I've had to get minor roof repairs four times in the 12 years I've owned my home here from hail damage. The little snow event / rainstorm we had in April was nice after such a long, dry winter and early Spring. As always, severe cold shots/snow events here in mid-late Spring are highly tornadic systems down the road. Monsoon looks like it will be active to me, and the long-term models are hinting at a relatively cool Summer here.
  19. Nice storm again. Deep loud thunder and gusty winds into the 30s.
  20. I can see some of the lightning from it from my house.
